You know all those $10 commericals you see on G4TV about becoming the next big developer? Well forget college buddy! According to Microsoft executive David Edery a new part of the Arcade will be coming out where developers new and old will be able to create their own games.
XNA Wants You! The XNA will be a community gaming initiative where these experienced and Billy Bob developers will be able to release their games upon us eager gamers. Edery realizes there will be, "random stuff coming from the community, [but] every once in a while there’s going to be a real gem in there that you just couldn’t have found otherwise, it wouldn’t have found its way on to a console."
Edery also sees the best part of XNA. It will be the chance for those shuffle board fantics to finally get their kicks with their own personal game. Edery says, "so I’m much more interested in it from a perspective of can it be used to satisfy more people, with more diverse content, than anything else."
XNA is scheduled to be released before the end of this year so start brain storming gamers! Now is the time for that long awaited high school football game, that’ll show EA Sports!
