GDC has been a huge event this year, supplying us with a wealth of information and some of the biggest announcements we could possibly see on a year that there are no new platform announcements.  With that being said, we’re extremely happy to announce to you that Fable 2 will feature online co-op!

While playing game in an online co-op portion, you won’t lose anything once you go back to your single player if you so desire as things are transferred over.  Molynneux has also informed as that you will be able to play certain Xbox Live games within Fable 2 that will earn you gold to use in Fable for various things.  At least one of these games will be available for download over Xbox Live before the game is on the shelf worldwide.

Between the relationships you can build between visitors, your family, and the plethora of options that are available for Fable 2, we can only count the days until we have a copy in our hands.
