In case you haven’t heard, coming soon to a Xbox 360 near you will be the battle between Pirates and Ninjas in the ultimate test of who’s the baddest of the bad--dodgeball. Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball was scheduled to be released early spring but due to certain reasons has been pushed back to the later part of the spring and possibly the summer.
The company says the game has been delayed "due to pirated copies being on the loose." Christopher Stockman, the director of Blazing Lizards (the developer) recoginzes the irony behind a pirated copy on the loose considering that pirates are involved in the game and said that they have "a crack team of Ninjas on the case and hunting down all pirates". Apparently, the company planned on attempting to recover these pirated versions until they later revealed in the press conference that the "game has not been pirated but we wanted an excuse to announce the wait for the game and the new game mode."

Nice to see some humor from the guys behind making our games. The new game mode mentioned to go along with the, obvious, dodgeball game will be more "traditional" versions of dodgeball. This includes multiple dodgeballs at once during gameplay and having teams stick to one side throughout the game.
